This descaling liquid contains special quaternary corrosion inhibitors which prevent excessive corrosion in the systems provided other parameters are followed. RXSOL ECO Safe Descaler is not a normal descaling liquid: this corrosion inhibitor and other wetting agents provide essential features to this descaling liquid.

A compatibility chart should not be interpreted as "ECO Safe Descaler can be left indefinitely in the equipment."
For example, stainless steels are generally very resistant to ECO Safe, but temperature and chloride contamination can change the corrosion risk. The British Stainless Steel Association specifically notes that chloride contamination can cause pitting and that higher temperatures may require more corrosion-resistant stainless grades.
ECO Safe Descaler Liquid is considered safe on elastomers like NBR , Buna-N. Note that elastomer contact time and temperature are exrtemely crucial to prevent swelling on gaskets.
