For best performance, the system should be as clean as possible before starting routine antifoulant treatment. Heavy deposits, scale or established marine growth should be removed through suitable cleaning/descaling procedures before application.

Dose into sea chest, suction side, strainer box or designated injection point using suitable chemical dosing equipment.

A preventive dose may be applied based on seawater flow rate and vessel operating conditions. Treatment frequency can be increased in harbour operations, warm waters, or areas prone to heavy marine growth.
