RXSOL 1450  Ferric Sulfate 60%  is an effective liquid Ferric Sulfate coagulant based on trivalent iron (Fe3+). The product is manufactured using a process reacting high purity iron ore with sulfuric acid. Ferric Sulfate Solution functions very well for both potable and wastewater clarification and can be used for turbidity removal, color removal, phosphate removal, heavy metal removal, in lime softening applications as well as for sludge conditioning. Ferric Sulfate Solution can also effectively be used in Hydrogen Sulfide control applications to reduce odor and corrosion.

Application

RXSOL1450 is scientifically formulated for use in drinking water applications, wastewater treatment and effluent treatment.

Technical Specifications

RXSOL is a leading supplier of Ferric Sulfate Fe2(SO4)3, an iron based acidic compound used for industrial wastewater pretreatment. RXSOL recommends Ferric Sulfate for pH adjustment, coagulation and dissolved heavy metal precipitation. Ferric Sulfate starts out as a dissolved solid, but falls out of solution and becomes a suspended solid at multiple pH levels for easy filtration.

Storage

Storage tanks and piping should be constructed of suitable material such as stainless steel, fiberglass, or cross-linked polyethylene. With this chemical it is recommended to clean the storage tank every 1-2 years.
