Bitumen Remover Cleaner
Bitumen Tar Remover has been specifically formulated to reduce labour costs by swiftly breaking deposits enabling them to be easily flushed away with water. It can be diluted up to a maximum of 18-1 with paraffin or diesel, or for extra economy it can be diluted up to 6-1 with water. This is suitable for valeting shops, boiler houses, asphalt manufacturers, all garages and workshop floors, building contractors, tankers and equipment, local authorities and plant operators.
RXSOL Bitumen Remover is a powerful solvent-based cleaner specially formulated to dissolve and remove bitumen, asphalt, and tar deposits from tools, machinery, vehicles, and metal surfaces. Its fast-acting chemical blend penetrates hardened residues, softening and loosening them for easy removal, thereby reducing manual labor and cleaning time significantly.
This product is commonly used in the marine hold cleaning, construction, road maintenance, refinery, and transport sectors, where tar and asphalt buildup frequently occurs.
This product also can be used as a Bitumen Emulsifier .
Recommendation Dose for general deposition :
200 Ltrs/Hold for HANDYMAX & 250 Ltrs/Hold for PANAMAX
Each drums of 210 ltrs covers 2000 to 2500 sq meter while on rough and rusted surface require more quantities of materials.
for HANDYMAX (5 Holds) : In general 500 Ltr to 1000 Ltr RXSOL-20-1004-025 require to cover area up to 12 mtrs , i.e approx 1/2 drum to 1 drum of material is sufficient for each hold , while
for PANAMAX (7 Holds) : In general 1000 Ltr to 2000 Ltrs RXSOL-20-1004-025 require to cover full area. , i.e approx 3/4 drum to 1.25 drums of material is sufficient for each hold.

BITUMEN ASPHALT REMOVER AND CLEANER FOR KERBS
There is now an alternative to using harmful solvents to remove over poured or bitumen spray from all porous surfaces. The process is simple with the plant derived RXSOL Bitumen Remover penetrating deep into the surface to release and lift the asphalt, this is achieved in a far safer manner and without the use of any carcinogenic and toxic chemicals.
METHODOLOGY of cleaning BITUMEN using RXSOL BITUMEN REMOVER:
- Scrape off excess bitumen where possible from kerb face using floor scraper and wire brush. Ensure the kerb stone and other surfaces are dry
- Apply RXSOL Bitumen and Asphalt Remover & Cleaner to affected kerbs using hand pump sprayer or paint brush as appropriate to stain
- Allow to penetrate for 15/20 minutes
- Pressure wash kerbs using hot or cold water
- Repeat steps 2 - 4 as necessary until bitumen is removed
- If further clean up required, use RXSOL-41-8896-025 Degreaser Heavy Duty Alkaline Cleaner .
- Pressure wash kerbs using hot or cold water
Upon coming into contact with water RXSOL BITUMEN ASPHALT REMOVER becomes inert, it is essential that the kerb is dry before the product is applied.
